Each transfer method comes with four separate fees:
-
Deposit fee
- Applied only when used for depositing. We currently don't charge this fee at all.
-
Settle fee
- Applied only when used for settlements. For example, we will charge 25,000 VND for bank transfers.
-
Network fee
- Applied on both sides equally, used to cover the costs incurred by the transfer method. Charged primarily on BTC, ETH and all Ethereum-based assets, and will change over time depending on blockchain congestion.
-
Exchange fee
- Already included in the exchange rate. It varies depending on the asset and sometimes the transfer method.
See bitcoinvn.io/info for a complete list of fees.
How fees are deducted
All fees are deducted from the output — what you receive, not what you send. The exchange fee is built into the rate itself. The settle fee (e.g., 25,000 VND for standard bank transfer) is subtracted from your settlement amount. Network fees on the crypto side are similarly deducted from the output. The amount shown on your order page already reflects these deductions.
How the exchange rate works
When you create an order, the rate you see includes all exchange fees — there are no hidden charges. The rate is calculated from the current market price with the exchange fee built into the spread.
Fixed-rate quotes
Each order is based on a fixed-rate quote that locks in the rate for 15 minutes. As long as your deposit arrives (or is detected on the blockchain) before the quote expires, the quoted rate is guaranteed.
If the quote expires before your deposit is detected, the order may be settled at the current market rate or canceled.
What happens if I send more or less than the quoted amount?
- Overpayment: If you send slightly more than the quoted deposit amount, the settlement is calculated based on the original quoted amount — not the full deposit. The small excess is not refunded automatically. To avoid this, send the exact amount shown on the order page.
- Underpayment: Most orders have a deposit range (minimum and maximum amount). If you send less than the quoted deposit amount but within the accepted range, the order is processed normally at the quoted rate. If you send less than the minimum deposit amount, the order will still be processed, but an underpayment penalty fee is applied proportional to the shortfall. For example, if you underpay by 10%, a 10% penalty fee is deducted from your settlement. This is required to offset hedging risk and other operational complications caused by receiving a different amount than what was quoted. To avoid this fee, always send at least the minimum deposit amount shown on your order page.
