BitcoinVN has two options for securing your account with 2FA.
Google Authenticator
Can be enabled in your settings. Go to https://bitcoinvn.io/setup-2fa to enable or disable Google Authenticator 2FA.
For security reasons, we may prompt users to enter an authentication code sent by email under certain circumstances and when no other 2FA method is configured.
Lost Access to 2FA? How to Reset
If you have lost access to your authenticator app (e.g. new phone, app deleted, device lost), you can request a 2FA reset by contacting our support team at [email protected].
Important: For your security, a 2FA reset requires identity verification (KYC). You will need to provide valid identification documents so we can confirm you are the account holder before the reset is performed.
Steps to reset your 2FA:
- Contact BitcoinVN Support at [email protected] and let us know you need a 2FA reset.
- Our team will ask you to provide KYC documents (government-issued ID) for identity verification.
- Once your identity is verified, we will reset your 2FA.
- After the reset, you can log in and set up a new 2FA method at https://bitcoinvn.io/setup-2fa.
